The BigCityLib blog found out what former Conservative candidate Chris Reid really thinks about Canada. The CBC sums it all up with this:

In his blog, according to BigCityLib blog, Reid criticized passengers on the bus in Manitoba where Tim McLean, 22, was beheaded in a gruesome killing in July.

Passengers and the driver “stood by and watched another person being butchered, and couldn’t muster up any courage or self-sacrifice to intervene,” Reid wrote.

“This is where socialism [has] gotten us folks, a castrated effeminate population.”

Whoa. But it gets better – Chris Reid responded with the stereotypical craziness that someone new to the internet has. He also thought he could delete his blog. LOL, indeed.

Now the person running in Toronto Centre is David Gentili who is apparently one of Harper’s minions from Ottawa. This riding is probably going to Bob Rae anyway.

Rae finally says something of note and says he would let American war resisters stay in Canada. Where were the Liberals a couple years ago when they could have done something about this? Oh, yeah, that’s right – they don’t do things.

“I believe very strongly, as do a majority in the House of Commons, that we should do as we did during the Vietnam War,” said Bob Rae. “We should be
accepting of those who refuse to take part in a war that Canada decided not to
take part in because it was not internationally sanctioned. Canada accepted
over 50,000 people during the Vietnam War, and Canada has benefited greatly
from them. Jeremy will make a great Canadian and it would be great if he and
his family could stay in Canada,” Rae added.
