Trailers for the Walrus
by Adam on Aug.19, 2009, under Miscellaneous Wondering
I’m a big fan of the Walrus so it’s pretty neat to see that they are promoting themselves using trailers. Granted, the first tailer (below) is for the worst article I have ever read in the magazine. I was looking forward to a really great article about the Plains of Abraham and instead got crappy fiction.

by Adam on Oct.23, 2008, under mobile blogging
To celebrate their relaunch of rabble.ca and media democracy day rabble is having a party! I’m here now listening to a neat panel of some powerful thinkers.
The best part? It’s at the steamwhistle brewery.
Rabble.ca rocks!
Calgary Conservative proves to Canada he’s racist
by Adam on Sep.29, 2008, under election 2008
Calgary Centre Conservative Lee Richardson got caught talking to the media and his racism shone through. I have no idea why Harper would stop his MPs from talking to the media, not idea whatsoever.
“Particularly in big cities, we’ve got people that have grown up in a different culture,” he said. “And they don’t have the same background in terms of the stable communities we had 20, 30 years ago in our cities … and don’t have the same respect for authority or people’s person or property.”
He later added: “Talk to the police. Look at who’s committing these crimes. They’re not the kid that grew up next door.”
Also, this is my Technorati Profile for those who care.
