Housing prices will continue to fall
by Adam on Jan.24, 2009, under Miscellaneous Wondering
Matty and I are thinking that the housing market has further to fall. We think this because:
-It’s still artificially high
-The housing market follows the stock market but on a bit of a lag (suckers)
-There are more jobs to be lost in the Canadian economy forcing a sale of assets
-People will have to retire and they will have to downsize = flood of ugly houses with pictures of ducks
-People are jumpy
There you have it.

Bush, as foretold by The Onion
by Adam on Jan.19, 2009, under Miscellaneous Wondering
The Onion wrote an article in January 2001 that eerily predicted what Bush was going to do throughout his term.
The speech was met with overwhelming approval from Republican leaders.
“Finally, the horrific misrule of the Democrats has been brought to a close,” House Majority Leader Dennis Hastert (R-IL) told reporters. “Under Bush, we can all look forward to military aggression, deregulation of dangerous, greedy industries, and the defunding of vital domestic social-service programs upon which millions depend. Mercifully, we can now say goodbye to the awful nightmare that was Clinton’s America.”
I wonder what The Onion will write about Obama.

These info-graphics always entertain me because it shows how little competition there actually is in our capitalist system.
